Her first feature film Yuvakudu in Telugu was released in the year 2000. Her second film Khushi with Pavan Kalyan was a super hit in Telugu for which she won the "Best Actress Award". But the Hindi version of the film starring Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan sank. She has so far done five films in Telugu and one in Tamil.

Asin Thottumkal debuted in the Malayalam film Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001, directed by Sathyan Anthikkad but it did not do well at the box-office. Her breakthrough as an actress came with her first Telugu language film when she played the role of a Tamil girl in the successful Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi opposite Ravi Teja.
Initially many in the Tamil industry considered her to be a jinx as the initial movies she signed in Tamil were either cancelled, delayed or faced financial problems. Although she signed Ullam Ketkumae as her first Tamil film, her first release was M. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi which was a remake of her Telugu film Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. Anushka did her schooling and college in Bangalore. After completing graduation in Computer Applications, she learned yoga. Then she became a yoga instructer. Puri Jagannadh happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for Super. Her acting in Vikramarkudu got the appreciation of youngsters.

Anushka made her acting debut in Puri Jagannath's 2005 Telugu film Super with Akkineni Nagarjuna. The same year, she acted in another film Mahanandi, which was an unsuccessful venture. In 2006, she had four releases, the first being S. S. Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu opposite Raviteja, in which she portrayed the character Neeraja Goswami. The film went on to become very successful and got her much recognition, that eventually made her very popular in Andhra Pradesh. She next had starred in the film Astram, a remake of the 1999 Hindi film Sarfarosh, following which she debuted in the Tamil film industry, acting in the Sundar C.-directed action flick Rendu, sharing screen space with R. Madhavan. Later that year, she made a special appearance in A. R. Murugadoss' directorial debut in Telugu, Stalin.
Her first release in 2007 was Lakshyam, after which she starred in Raghava Lawrence's Don opposite Nagarjuna again, of which particularly the former did very well at the box office. 2008 she had appeared in six films overall; Okka Magaadu was the first release, in which she played one of three female leads. Her subsequent releases Swagatam alongside Jagapati Babu and Bhumika Chawla and Baladur opposite Ravi Teja again, garnered poor reviews and box office returns. She next appeared in the film Souryam pairing with Gopichand again, which became a box office hit.
In 2009, Anushka first starred in the block-buster hit Arundhati. The film, a heroine-centric film, in which she essayed two roles for the first time,was a critical as well as commercial success. Her performance, as Jejamma in particular, was highly critically acclaimed and fetched her her first Nandi Award and the Filmfare Best Actress Award. Her next film, the action flick Billa, a remake of the 2007 Tamil namesake, itself a remake of the 1978 Hindi film Don, featured Shetty in an entirely contrary role to her role in Arundati. Her final release in 2009 was her second Tamil feature film, Vettaikkaran, in which she was paired with lead actor Vijay and which she was also successful. She is currently acting in another Tamil film Singam, whilst in Telugu her upcoming released include Vedam, Panchakshari and Kaleja, all scheduled to release in 2010.

Anita Hassanadani before known as Natassha is an Indian actress.
She is also known for her belief in numerology,. She is very close to Ekta Kapoor and her family.
It is known that she is crazy about sarees and has a wide collection of designer sarees!

She is a model turned actress. After her success as a model for Sunsilk, Boroplus and other brands, she made her debut on the television screen in Ekta Kapoor's highly successful soap "Kabhi Sautan Kabhie Saheli". During the soap she also auditioned for Balaji Telefilms Balaji's second movie 'Kuch To Hai', and her innocent look awarded her the role of sweet and bubbly Tasshu. 'Ding Dong', a song from the movie was a smash hit and she was known as 'Ding Dong Baby' all over the nation.
She also worked for Balaji in 'Krishna Cottage" - a supernatural thriller; and "Koi Aap Sa"- a movie featuring the live-in relationship.
Other than her mainstream Hindi Silver and TV screen performances, she also worked in some South-Indian movies including 'nenupelliki ready' and 'thotti gang'. She even acted in 'Nuvvu Mennu (You and Me)' which was a super hit telugu movie, later the movie had been remade with the name 'Yeh Dil' in Hindi with Ekta Kapoor's brother Tusshar Kapoor.

Amala Paul Biography
Amala Paul is an Indian film actress, who works in the South Indian film industries. After appearing in supporting roles in the Malayalam film Neelathamara and a venture in Tamil, she received critical acclaim for the portrayal of a controversial character in the film, Sindhu Samaveli. Despite the failure of that film, Amala became noted after playing the title role in Mynaa, receiving critical acclaim for her work. Since then, she has been signed on for several notable projects and is considered a leading actress in Tamil films. She has appeared in a few Malayalam films as well.

Amala was born on 26 October 1991 in Ernakulam, Kerala to Malayali Syrian Christian parents, Paul Varghese and Annice Paul. After completing her Plus Two examinations at govt girls HSS, Aluva she took a sabbatical to begin a career in films, but has since joined St. Teresa's College in Kochi, to pursue a BA degree in English and is a currently in her third year. Her father had been strictly against Amala pursuing an acting career, but was forced to accept her decision with her older brother, Abijith, strongly backing her ambition.[13] She later claimed she had performing arts in her DNA, revealing that her mother was a singer and her dad was into theatre in college. Amala had changed her on-screen name to Anakha, on director Samy's insistence, who cited that another actress, Amala had already made her name popular. However, after the failure of Sindhu Samaveli, she reverted to her birth name since she felt that the replacement had brought her bad luck. Amala says Anushka Shetty as her ‘role model’ and has added that she would love to follow suit in Anushka’s footsteps "I value her a lot as an actress and reasons to think her of a real-life ‘role model’ for me".
